MicroAGI was founded in Berlin in 2024 by two co-founders who spent years watching enterprise ops teams get stuck between AI that moved too fast and auditability that moved too slow. We decided to fix that.

We watched ops teams at mid-sized European companies try to adopt AI tools and run into the same wall every time. The models worked. The outputs were mostly right. But when something went wrong, no one could explain what had happened. The audit trail was gone. The approvals were missing. The integration to the ERP had done something unexpected.
The reaction was always the same: shut it down, go back to manual, and wait for the technology to mature.
We built MicroAGI because we believed the missing piece was not a better model. It was a better inspection layer. An ops team that can see exactly what an agent did, and why, and who approved it, can trust it. And a team that trusts it will keep using it.
We are bootstrapped because we want to build for ops teams, not for investors. Our customers are finance and operations teams at mid-market European companies who need real auditability, EU data residency, and a system they can explain to their management.

Bercan Kilic
CEO and Co-Founder
Bercan spent years running process improvement and building automation tooling for finance and operations teams across manufacturing and logistics companies in Germany. He saw firsthand how often AI pilots got shelved because no one could explain to a CFO or auditor what had actually happened inside the workflow. That gap became MicroAGI. He leads product direction and enterprise customer relationships.

What we believe
Transparency is the product
An AI agent that cannot show its work is not useful in enterprise ops. The inspection layer is not a nice-to-have feature. It is the reason ops teams can trust the system at all.
The human stays in control
We design for human oversight, not against it. Guardrails and approval routing exist to keep the ops team in control of every outcome the agent produces, especially the edge cases.
